Soulfree Founder, Preethi Srinivasan was one of three people, who were bestowed with the “RUSH” award by the Rotary Club of Madras East, in their effort to honour Unsung Heroes and provide them with a platform to showcase their work.

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Ramakrishnan, the founder president of Amar Seva Sangam, a true hero and role model for one and all, especially those in the disability sector, and an “Amazing Indian” in every sense of the word.

“It was truly a privilege to have the opportunity to share my story with the esteemed members of the Rotary Club of Madras East. I’m truly touched by the way they embraced and encouraged the work of all three of the winners.

The other two winners of the RUSH award are Madhavi Latha, who is working hard to spread awareness about the need for Sports for persons with disability in India, and Dr Udhaya Malar, who has single-handedly raised more than 2500 orphans over a period of 40 years. I am honoured to share the stage with such wonderful champions.”
