Soulfree #INSPIRE Centre – On December 3, #World#Disability#Day, let’s spread the word about an Enterprise that is going to be BY the #positivelyabled, FOR the positively-abled and OF the positively-abled.

Soulfree is Establishing India’s first #INTEGRATED#SPINAL#REHABILITATION centre in a 20,000 ft² facility at #Thiruvannamalai, #TamilNadu.

This project is the brainchild of Preethi Srinivasan and Vijayalakshmi Srinivasan, Who started working for the #welfare of those with #spinalcordinjury, especially women and those living below the line of poverty after Preethi sustained an SCI and became #paralysed below the neck. [BY the positively-abled]

In order to create a truly #Inclusive environment, we have given first priority to marginalised segments of society for #employment as well. Recently, we conducted an employment drive in which nearly 70 persons with disability participated and 22 were shortlisted. [OF the positively-abled]

The facility will provide holistic and individualised treatment programs for those who have faced serious spinal-cord injuries leaving them paralysed.
