Yesterday was a special day for Soulfree because many persons with spinal cord injury, who are usually stuck indoors, came together at our headquarters. During this time, a team from Makkal TV, a leading Tamil channel came over to shoot for one of their programs.

For many of Soulfree family members this was the first opportunity to speak in front of a TV camera. They were nervous, but they were very happy that for the first time, their life, their story is being appreciated and focused upon. it was great to see the team from Makkal TV showing the limelight on this invisible section of society, people who are unseen, unheard and largely uncared for. “Soulfree” is happy to do its little part in being the change!
