We must acknowledge that political leaders, government officials, philanthropists, actors and celebrities have the power to influence and positively impact Indian society and policy changes in a major way.

In order to sensitise Indian society about the challenges and needs of persons with severe disabilities like spinal cord injury, especially women, it is important to raise awareness amongst the trendsetters and policymakers.

Soulfree Founder, Preethi Srinivasan has made it her life’s mission, to be the face and voice of an all too often invisible segment of society and bring to the fore the needs of wheelchair users like wheelchair accessibility, and opportunities in education, employment, entrepreneurship and sports.
