Soulfree joined other NGOs working for Spinal Cord Injury under the umbrella of The Spinal Foundation to conduct India’s first-ever wheelchair marathon – The Kotak Wheelchair Marathon early on Sunday morning at the Marina beach in Chennai.

With immense support from the entire community, including the police and government administrators, we are happy to announce that the event was a resounding success!

We are deeply grateful to Ramakrishnan Sir, founder and president of Amar Seva Sangam for flagging off the run.
Along with all the sponsors, all the participants, all the wheelchair users who attended the event from all over India, my congratulations go to the main organisers Vaidyanathan Singararaman – whose hard work, commitment and dedication have been exemplary, Justin Vijay, Venkada Boopathy (of the Ramji Trust) and the entire team of Spinal Injury Persons Association.
